Johann Topf Yellow Muscat

Johann Topf Yellow Muscat
Yellow Muscat from the Sental – a high-altitude vineyard on the Wechselberg mountain in the Lower Austrian Weinviertel region, known for its intense sunshine. The loess soil of the plateau provides the vines with a nutrient-rich base and ensures fully ripe grapes.
Johann Topf winery is one of the reliable addresses in the Weinviertel region – consistently focused on varietal typicity, with a clear focus on the aromatic white wine varieties of the region.
Yellow Muscat presents itself here in its classic form: fresh rose petals and orange zest on the nose, complemented by a hint of apricot and white peach. On the palate, it is light-bodied with lively acidity; the typical Muscat aroma lingers through to the long, aromatic finish.
Best served between 10 and 12 °C. Pairs well with asparagus with hollandaise sauce, pan-fried pike-perch, or mild goat cheese – and is equally suitable as a simple aperitif on warm evenings. An easy-drinking wine to enjoy soon.
