Veuve Clicquot Rich
Veuve Clicquot Rich is a champagne specifically designed to be enjoyed with ice and fresh ingredients – a concept that combines the House of Clicquot with the style of its traditional cuvées.
This blend combines Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and Chardonnay from several vintages. With a higher dosage than the classic Yellow Label, the Rich has more residual sugar, making it more resistant to ice, fruit, and strong aromatics. In the glass, aromas of white peach, honeydew melon, and a hint of brioche are carried by the rounded structure typical of Clicquot.
- Serving suggestion: Serve over plenty of ice in a large wine glass.
- Garnish: Cucumber, fresh ginger, white berries or lychee enhance the fruit flavors.
- Occasion: Summer aperitif gatherings, terrace aperitifs, festive brunches
Veuve Clicquot – behind this name lies one of the most fascinating stories in Champagne. In 1805, at just 27 years old, the widow Clicquot took over her late husband's house and revolutionized Champagne production: The riddling rack, which she helped develop, remains the standard to this day.
The distinctive yellow label is much more than just a logo – it stands for reliability, maturity, and a full-bodied style that combines depth with elegance. At its heart is the non-vintage Yellow Label , characterized by Pinot Noir and decades of cellar experience.
