Vesevo Beneventano Falanghina

Vesevo Beneventano Falanghina
Falanghina is one of the oldest grape varieties in Campania – and Vesevo gets out of it what the volcanic soil of the Beneventano has to offer: a white wine with a clear freshness and southern Italian character.
The Vesevo winery operates in the province of Benevento, north of Mount Vesuvius, on soils with a strong volcanic influence. This mineral substrate shapes the acidity of the Falanghina and maintains its aromatic vibrancy even at warmer vintage temperatures.
In the glass, the wine displays aromas of white peach, honeydew melon, and acacia blossom. On the palate, it is full-bodied yet light and without heaviness – the acidity is present but not harsh, and the finish is subtly mineral and pleasantly long.
Serving temperature: 8–10 °C . Drink now – this wine is meant for freshness, not for aging. Pairs well with:
- grilled calamari or shrimp
- light pasta with lemon cream sauce
- mild goat cheese
- as an uncomplicated aperitif in summer

Vesevo is an Italian winery from the Campania region. Founded in 2000, it is part of the Farnesevini Group. The company, which takes its name from the ancient volcano Mount Vesuvius, is managed by Alberto Antonini. The winery's 60 hectares of vineyards consist largely of mineral-rich volcanic rock. Vesevo cultivates grape varieties such as Falanni, Fiano di Avellino, Greco, and Aglianico Beneventano for its wines.
