Vesevo Beneventano Aglianico
The trendy Italian region of Campania has become a darling of international wine critics in just a few years. This "little wine miracle" at the foot of Mount Vesuvius has triggered a veritable rush for Fiano, Aglianico, and other wines, transforming virtually overnight from a wine region steeped in tradition but dormant since the destruction of Pompeii into a sought-after and expensive delight. Campania's best vineyards lie in the hills around the city of Avellino, about 50 km east of Naples at the foot of Vesuvius, with their unique volcanic soils. Beneventano Aglianico is a bouquet-rich red wine made from the finest red grape variety in southern Italy, with aromas of red fruit, subtle spice, and a hint of vanilla, complemented by soft tannins.

Vesevo is an Italian winery from the Campania region. Founded in 2000, it is part of the Farnesevini Group. The company, which takes its name from the ancient volcano Mount Vesuvius, is managed by Alberto Antonini. The winery's 60 hectares of vineyards consist largely of mineral-rich volcanic rock. Vesevo cultivates grape varieties such as Falanni, Fiano di Avellino, Greco, and Aglianico Beneventano for its wines.
