The Whistler is the house brand of the Irish Boann Distillery, which has been producing in County Meath since 2019 and is known for its sherry-influenced bottlings. The combination of Irish distilling tradition and consistent cask management makes the line one of the most approachable Irish malts in the mid-price range.

In the glass, the effects of six months in a PX cask become apparent: dark raisins, dates, and a hint of dark chocolate mingle with the vanilla and light caramel from the bourbon wood. The finish is long, warm, and slightly nutty. Bottled at 46% ABV, without chill filtration or added coloring, this whiskey retains its natural texture and depth.
