Tesch's St. Remigiusberg Riesling Trocken opens with remarkable clarity, freshness, and purity, displaying white fruit and mineral notes that reflect the terroir of weathered volcanic rock and iron-rich clay soils. Full-bodied yet lean and taut on the palate, this is a powerful yet elegant, densely woven, crystalline, and herbaceous Riesling with precisely defined white fruit and remarkable mineral freshness and vitality. This is once again the top wine of the vintage. Robert M. Parker: 94 points for the 2022 vintage. James Suckling: 95 points for the 2022 vintage.

Tesch Winery

Tesch – the first rock 'n' roller among wineries. When Unplugged (yes, the label inspired MTV) became Gibson's house wine, the name was indispensable in the rock scene. Today, Riesling is drunk backstage – at Rock am Ring, in Wacken, and even Die Toten Hosen have Tesch as their official supplier. The selection is small, focused, and easy to navigate. Three varieties: Riesling, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Blanc. All dry, all with screw caps. Environmentally friendly viticulture, hand-harvesting – a given.
