Steinfass Pinot Blanc

A Pinot Blanc from the Palatinate that clearly shows its character: fruity and soft, with a pleasant residual sweetness that makes it accessible even for newcomers to the Pinot Blanc universe.

Bergdolt-Reif & Nett is one of the established names in the Palatinate — a family business from Duttweiler near Neustadt an der Weinstraße that cultivates its vines on sandy loam and limestone. The Steinfass Pinot Blanc is the winery's accessible line: uncomplicated, suitable for everyday life, but with the signature of a producer that has been taking Pinot Blanc seriously for decades.

In the glass, it shows a bright straw yellow. On the nose, ripe pear, a hint of white peach, and some melon. On the palate, it is soft, with mild acidity and a subtle sweetness that carries the fruit character without appearing too heavy. The finish is short and fresh.

Served well-chilled at 8–10 °C, it pairs well with Asian dishes with a light sweetness, tarte flambée with crème fraîche, or as an uncomplicated companion for an aperitif. It also does a great job on its own on the terrace.
