Stahl Chardonnay dry
A Chardonnay that doesn't need a big stage: fresh, clearly structured, with genuine drinking motivation.
Christian Stahl manages his vineyard in Auernhofen in Franconia – a region known for its minerality and straightforwardness, not for heaviness. The Chardonnay grapes grow on calcareous soils, which give the wine its characteristic freshness.
In the glass, it displays a pale straw yellow color. The nose offers aromas of light apple, a touch of citrus peel, and a subtle minerality. On the palate, it is juicy with lively acidity, medium body, and a clean, lingering finish – without any oak or ripeness overpowering the fruit.
Pairs well with: grilled sea bass in a salt crust, salads with goat cheese, asparagus with hollandaise sauce, or light pasta dishes with herbs. Serving temperature: 10–12 °C. Drinking window: now until 2026.
