Schloss Reinhartshausen Preussens Gloria Rheingau Riesling dry

Schloss Reinhartshausen Preussens Gloria Rheingau Riesling dry
Riesling from the Rheingau that needs no big words: fresh, dry, with the typical tension between ripe fruit and invigorating acidity.
Schloss Reinhartshausen is located directly on the Rhine near Eltville — one of the most famous estates in the Rheingau with a long history and sites on the Rheingauer Rüdesheimer Berg as well as the Erbacher Marcobrunn neighborhood. The "Preussens Gloria" is the accessible entry into the assortment: a estate wine that shows the region's signature without becoming academic.
In the glass, aromas of yellow apple, ripe apricot, and a hint of white peach appear. The acidity is present but integrated — no stinging, but a clear framework that keeps the wine lively. Mineral notes on the finish, which ends medium-long and dry.
Drinking recommendation: Well chilled at 10–12 °C. Pairs with asparagus with hollandaise sauce, fried zander, or a fresh goat cheese. Also a good choice as an uncomplicated aperitif.

Schloss Reinhartshausen – more than 680 years of Rheingau wine culture. The core estate dates back to the ancestral seat of the Knights of Erbach. With around 80 hectares, it is the largest privately managed winery in the region, with vineyards such as Marcobrunn, Nussbrunnen, Wisselbrunnen, and the monopoly vineyard Erbacher Schlossberg.
