Meissen Scheurebe quality wine dry

Rhubarb, gooseberries, fresh herbs, a touch of tart grapefruit and elderflower. Clear and delicately juicy, very invigorating fruitiness with a hint of orange zest, dried herbs and a touch of biscuit, lively and refreshing, firm body with strength and backbone, well-integrated sweetness, good balance, deep and complex, very herbaceous finish with tart orangeade and a touch of biscuit. Prince zur Lippe

The Prinz zur Lippe winery – Saxony's oldest winery. After being expropriated in 1945, it was returned to family ownership in 1990 by Dr. Georg zur Lippe. Today, it cultivates 87 hectares of vineyards in the prime locations of Kloster Heilig Kreuz Meißen and Schloss Proschwitz. Granite and loess loam characterize the soils. Elbling, Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, and Goldriesling are grown – producing approximately 400,000 bottles annually. The Proschwitz terroir lends the wines delicate acidity, subtle aromas, and a rich minerality. A taste experience as unique as a fingerprint.
