Rully Blanc AC

The Rully Blanc from Joseph Drouhin is a dry Chardonnay from the Côte Chalonnaise: yellow-fruited, floral, and with enough fullness to take a leading role at the table as well.

The grapes grow on lime-rich soils around Rully and Chagny in the south of Burgundy. Maison Joseph Drouhin is one of the well-known houses in the region, and Véronique Boss-Drouhin oversees the family's wines. The 2023 vintage is considered very ripe, which you can taste in the yellow fruit.

A clear white gold in the glass. On the nose, yellow fruit and floral hints meet gorse, almond, and a fine note of candied citrus fruits. On the palate, the wine feels elegant and generous; the balance remains precise, and the finish is long.

Serve at 11 to 13 °C in a large glass, as this is how the aromas unfold best. It pairs well with fried poultry, sweetbreads, river fish in butter, or a mature goat cheese.
