Rosapasso Pinot Nero Rosato

A rosé wine made from Pinot Nero that shows what the grape variety can do even without red wine fermentation: structure, fruit and a fine aromatic precision.

Mabis uses cryo-maceration for this Rosato — the grapes are briefly in contact with their skins at low temperatures before the juice is gently pressed. This process extracts the primary aromas from the skins particularly efficiently, without carrying over any bitterness or tannins. The result is a vibrant salmon pink with clear, fruit-forward aromas.

On the nose, strawberry, red currant, and a hint of rose petal. On the palate, fresh and light, with fine acidity and a clean, short finish. An uncomplicated wine with character—not a heavy wine, but one for the moment.

Serving temperature: 8–10 °C. Pairs well with grilled salmon, goat cheese salad, or light pasta dishes with tomatoes and herbs. Also a good choice as an aperitif on the patio.

Mabis

Biscardo – more than a winery. A family that has lived, worked, and loved in Valpolicella for over 140 years. Generation after generation with the same passion. At the heart of it all: the appassimento method. Harvested grapes are dried for weeks – water is drawn out, concentration is gained. The result: wines that taste deeper, fuller, more intense. Their most famous wine, the Neropasso: powerful and harmonious, with dark fruit and velvety warmth. The Oropasso? Garganega meets Chardonnay – unusual, wonderful. Here you'll find wines with a story. Of family, craftsmanship, and a region that produces the extraordinary.
