Rosa del Rosa DOC Piedmont 0.75L

A rosé wine from Piedmont that shows what Nebbiolo can do beyond Barolo: luminous salmon pink, lively acidity, dry finish. Proprietà Sperino has specialized in the rediscovery of the Coste della Sesia — one of the oldest wine regions in Northern Italy, which long stood in the shadow of the great Piedmontese appellations.

The Rosa del Rosa consists of about 90% Nebbiolo, supplemented by about 10% Vespolina. Short maceration time to draw color and structure without sliding into the depth of a red wine. In the glass, aromas of blood orange, fresh raspberry, and a hint of rose petal appear — typical Nebbiolo elegance in a summery format. The acidity carries the wine, the finish remains dry and clear.

Serve at 10–12 °C. Pairs with grilled sea bass with herbs, vitello tonnato, or a light risotto with peas and mint — but it also makes a good figure as an aperitif with olives and salumi.
