Psenner Edler Gravenstein Riserva Apple Brandy
Gravenstein is one of the oldest apple varieties in Europe – acidic, aromatic, and rare in cultivated orchards. Psenner distills this heritage apple from South Tyrol and then ages the brandy for five years in French oak and chestnut barrels . The result: an apple brandy with significantly more depth than classic fruit brandies. Ripe quince, vanilla, and a hint of wood spice on the finish – yet the fruit remains clearly present.
Neat at room temperature in a bulbous nosing glass that concentrates the aromas. Also a convincing choice as a digestif after a heavy game dish or with mature mountain cheese from the region.
