Pinot Rosé Sparkling Wine Brut
A sparkling wine from the Markgräflerland region, where Martin Waßmer is primarily known for his still wines – this Pinot Rosé Brut shows that the house also works with meticulous craftsmanship in sparkling wine production.
On the nose, cool and delicately yeasty: yellow apple, almonds, a hint of raspberry. Lively on the palate, with fine, persistent bubbles and a clear stone fruit character of apple and pear. Almond cream and herbal spice add depth, a slightly salty minerality lingers through the finish. Initially dry, then with a developing, subtle extract sweetness – long and refreshing.
Well chilled at 7–9 °C as an aperitif, with salmon tartare, goat cheese or light appetizers with herbs.
