Pinot Gris Grand Cru Spiegel AC Alsace Grand Cru 0.75L
The Pinot Gris Grand Cru Spiegel from Domaines Schlumberger is a dry Alsatian with real vineyard depth: complex, full-bodied, and with the unmistakable character of the Grand Cru terroir.
Domaines Schlumberger is one of the largest and most traditional wineries in Alsace. The Spiegel vineyard is located in the heart of Alsace between Guebwiller and Bergholtz and is characterized by sandy-loamy soils — a terroir that gives the Pinot Gris special fullness and aromatic ripeness.
On the nose, the wine shows aromas of quince and mirabelle, plus floral hints and a subtle spicy depth. On the palate, it feels dense and round, with a supporting acidity structure that gives contour to the weight of the fruit. The finish is long and slightly smoky — typical for Pinot Gris from Alsace.
Served at 10–12 °C, it accompanies foie gras, Munster with caraway, or a strong poultry dish with cream sauce. It also cuts a fine figure with scallops with butter sauce.

Domaines Schlumberger, located in Guebwiller in southern Alsace, has been family-owned since 1810 and is one of France's most prestigious wineries. Today, the seventh generation runs the estate: Séverine and Thomas Schlumberger cultivate approximately 140 hectares of vineyards – the largest contiguous AOC vineyard in Alsace, 70 hectares of which are in four Grand Cru sites. On steep slopes with gradients of up to 50 percent, tended by draft horses and supported by over 50 kilometers of stone retaining walls, wines of great depth are produced. Schlumberger uses only its own grapes and consciously produces only half of what the law would permit.
