Peninsula de Lisboa Rosé

A fresh, uncomplicated rosé from the Peninsula de Lisboa – the region north of Lisbon, where Atlantic sea breezes provide natural acidity and lightness.

Companhia Agrícola do Sanguinhal is one of Portugal's oldest wineries, cultivating its vineyards in Estremadura for generations. The proximity to the Atlantic Ocean shapes its style: a light ruby color in the glass, with a delicate salmon note.

The nose reveals aromas of strawberry and raspberry, along with a hint of rose petal. Light on the palate, with fresh acidity and a short, clean finish – no sweetness, no heaviness.

Serving temperature: 8–10 °C . Pairs well with grilled salmon, tomato burrata, or a light pasta salad. Also a solid choice as an aperitif on the terrace – for moments when the wine shouldn't be the main focus.

Companhia Agricola do Sanguinhal

Since 1926, Companhia Agrícola do Sanguinhal has been making wines that tell the story of their home – the Óbidos region in the heart of Portugal, nestled between Atlantic breezes and ancient vines. Three quintas, three distinct characters: Quinta do Sanguinhal, Quinta das Cerejeiras, and Quinta de São Francisco. Each estate brings its own unique expression – and together they create a portrait of Portugal that you can taste in the glass: fresh, vibrant, and profound. What sets this family winery apart? The balance between respecting traditional craftsmanship and the courage to evolve. Sustainable vineyard management is an integral part of their approach – not as a marketing promise, but as a philosophy that has been practiced for generations. The DOC wines from Óbidos are still a true hidden gem – exactly what we at Vinoscout love.
