Pawi's Müller-Thurgau dry

The Weingut Bernard Pawis from Freyburg an der Unstrut is one of the most reliable addresses in the northernmost German wine-growing region. On shell limestone and variegated sandstone, wines with a clear structure are created here — far removed from the soft, arbitrary style that long cost Müller-Thurgau its reputation.

In the nose, the wine opens with passion fruit, ripe apricot, and a hint of peach — complemented by a fine mint note that provides freshness. In the mouth, it is juicy, with an elegant body and a firm acid structure that drives the flow of drinking without being sharp. The finish is clean and straightforward.
