On the nose, this red wine reveals a rich array of aromas, including lavender, jasmine, lilies, violets, and blackcurrants. As if that weren't impressive enough, aging in small oak barrels adds further nuances such as oriental spices, gingerbread spice, and cocoa bean. The texture of this powerful red wine is wonderfully silky on the palate. Thanks to its moderate acidity, the Pinot Noir Russian River Valley offers a velvety mouthfeel without sacrificing freshness.
