Mouton Cadet Rouge Bordeaux AOC

Mouton Cadet is vinified in the winery's own Saint-Laurent-Médoc estate. The grapes come from vineyards that have partnered with the house for many years, located in the Côtes de Bourg, Côtes de Blaye, Côtes de Castillon, Côtes de Francs, and Premières Côtes de Bordeaux appellations. Following Bordeaux tradition, the grapes are destemmed and crushed. Alcoholic fermentation lasts approximately six days at a moderate temperature of 25–30°C, followed by a further maceration period of 15 days. Malolactic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, where the wine matures until bottling. The bouquet and palate offer fresh aromas of juicy cherries, ripe raspberries, and blackcurrants. Finely balanced, velvety, with great body and harmoniously integrated tannins, Mouton Cadet Rouge reflects the typical characteristics of its appellation.
