The Domaine des Lambrays is one of the most significant addresses in Morey-Saint-Denis. With the Clos des Lambrays, the winery owns one of the few Grand Crus that is entirely in one hand — a rare privilege in the Côte de Nuits. The Clos Baulet as a Premier Cru is the immediate neighbor: same philosophy, same careful hand-harvesting, same origin from the heart of Morey.

In the glass, the typical character of Pinot Noir from this site is revealed: aromas of dark cherry and raspberry, underscored by fine violets and an earthy, slightly smoky background. The palate is medium-weight with silky tannins, lively acidity, and a long, slightly spicy finish — just as one expects from a classic Morey-Saint-Denis.

Best served at 16–17 °C. Pairs excellently with Coq au vin, roasted duck with cherries, or a ripe Époisses.
