When autumn arrives in Trentino and the grape harvest in the vineyards draws to a close, the Marzadro distillery enters its peak season. From September until well into December, they work around the clock for 100 days a year to distill several hundred kilograms of freshly delivered, carefully selected pomace each day. For this grappa, fresh, select Gewürztraminer pomace from Trentino and Alto Adige is distilled together. The result is a highly aromatic grappa with distinctive spicy notes.

The Marzadro Distillery – Italian craftsmanship since 1949. Founded by Sabina and Attilio Marzadro, it is located in Vallagarina in northern Italy, surrounded by vineyards and orchards. Here, grappas and liqueurs of the highest quality are produced. What makes them so special? The pomace is traditionally distilled using a steam bain-marie method – carefully and precisely, supported by modern computer control. Marzadro processes up to 20 tons of pomace daily, producing up to 100,000 bottles annually. The quality is regularly tested by the "Istituto Tutela Grappa del Trentino" and has received numerous national and international awards. A true delight from northern Italy.
