Marzadro La Trentina Barrique Grappa Morbida 0.5L
La Trentina Barrique Morbida is a grappa that shows what wood aging can do to pomace brandy: soft, round, with a depth that classic young grappas rarely achieve.
Marzadro has been based in Trentino since 1949 — one of the most renowned distilleries in Northern Italy, exclusively using fresh pomace from the region. The Barrique line matures in small oak barrels, giving the Morbida its distinctive character: the sharp edges of a young pomace blend are softened by the wood aging without masking the fruity base notes.
In the glass, it displays a bright gold color. The nose offers dried fruit, a hint of vanilla, and mild oak. On the palate, it is soft and rounded—hence the name morbida (Italian for "gentle," "soft")—with notes of ripe pears, walnut, and a light caramel veil on the finish. It has a low alcohol bite for a grappa, with a long, warm aftertaste.
- Served at a slightly warm temperature of 16–18 °C, after a meal
- With ice: a single cube further enhances the fruity notes.
- Occasion: classic digestif, goes well with hazelnut chocolate or cantuccini

The Marzadro distillery – Italian craftsmanship since 1949. Founded by Sabina and Attilio Marzadro, it is located in the north of Italy, in Vallagarina, surrounded by vineyards and fruit trees. Grappas and liqueurs of the highest quality are created here. What makes them special? The pomace is traditionally distilled using the water-bath steam method – gently and precisely, supported by modern computer control. The quality is regularly checked by the "Istituto Tutela Grappa del Trentino". A true pleasure from the north of Italy.
