Marqués de Riscal Rosado Rioja

Marqués de Riscal Rosado Rioja
A fresh, light rosé from Marqués de Riscal — one of the oldest and most famous wineries in Rioja, based in Elciego since 1858 and official supplier to the Spanish Royal Court.
Marqués de Riscal is considered a pioneer of modern Rioja winemaking. This Rosado is made from classic Rioja grape varieties, including Tempranillo and Garnacha. Very short maceration time results in the characteristic light, salmon-colored hue and the vibrant freshness that distinguishes this wine.
In the glass, aromas of red currant, strawberry, and a hint of citrus zest emerge. The palate is supported by crisp acidity, while the body remains light and uncomplicated—a rosé that whets the thirst rather than fills you up. The finish is short, fresh, and clean.
Serving temperature: 8–10 °C. Best enjoyed young. Pairs well with
- grilled shrimps or gambas al ajillo
- light tapas such as Manchego cheese and olives
- Summer dishes with tomatoes and fresh herbs
