The M by Michael Mondavi is the house's flagship — a Cabernet Franc from the Napa Valley that combines structure and depth in one glass.

Michael Mondavi, son of Napa legend Robert Mondavi, founded the Family Estate with the ambition to show the best sites of the valley in independent wines. The M stands for the highest quality standards of the operation — named after the founder himself, focused on the essentials.

In the glass, the wine opens with cassis, blackberry, and juniper, plus a dark layer of roasted coffee beans and a hint of quince in the background. On the palate, it shows the freshness typical of Napa Cabernet Franc while maintaining a dense body — fine, ripe tannins, a clear structure, and a long, spicy finish.

Pairs with pan-seared rack of lamb, entrecôte with herb butter, or mature cheddar. Serving temperature: 17–18 °C.
