The Dr. Koehler winery is one of the oldest and most renowned wineries in Bechtheim. Ferdinand Koehler built it in 1898 and began viticulture there. Due to a lack of successors in the Koehler family, Christian Dreißigacker and his family took over the business in 2006 and started virtually from scratch.
The Kaisermantel Pinot Gris shows a fine herbal aroma in the nose; notes of dried fruit; some dried peach and apricot kernel; quince compote; very muscular on the palate; fresh with light gooseberry compote; long finish.
