Dr. Herr Doktor White Wine Cuvée dry

The white wine cuvée Herr Doktor from the Rheinhessen winery Dr. Köhler shows what an uncomplicated white wine can achieve: fresh fruit, clear structure, no frills.

The Dr. Köhler winery is rooted in Rheinhessen — one of Germany's largest wine-growing regions, known for lighter, approachable white wines with natural freshness. This cuvée combines typical Rheinhessen grape varieties to create an everyday white wine with character.

In the glass, aromas of ripe apple and pear, with a subtle hint of hazelnut. On the palate, it's lean and juicy, with a fine minerality in the background. Acidity and fruit are perfectly balanced—nothing too strong or too weak, just a harmonious and enjoyable drink.

Serving suggestion: Well chilled at 8–10 °C. Pairs well with pasta in cream sauce, roast chicken, mild goat cheese, or simply as an after-work drink. Not a wine for aging – drink now.

Dr. Köhler

Dr. Köhler makes wines that reflect his own personality: down-to-earth, direct, and full of joie de vivre. This Rheinhessen winery stands for wines that don't pretend – wines that always show their origin and what they are.

The range follows a clear logic: bronze for the estate wines, silver for the village wines, gold for the single-vineyard wines – and a little color for the concept wines, which are simply meant to be fun. This way you always know what to expect.
