Kaisermantel Chardonnay dry

A Chardonnay that focuses on freshness and substance – clearly structured, creamy in the mouth, with an animating touch right through to the finish.

Dr. Köhler stands for meticulously handcrafted wines from Germany. The Kaisermantel Chardonnay demonstrates what this grape variety can achieve in cooler climates: no overripeness, but instead precision and density.

On the nose, ripe pear and a hint of pineapple, kept cool and fresh. On the palate, the wine develops a dense, compact juiciness – a creamy texture, a touch of extract sweetness that never feels heavy, and a subtle minerality in the background. The finish is longer than expected: invigorating, lively, with good substance.

Serving suggestion: Serve at 10–12 °C. It pairs well with chicken breast with herb butter, pasta with cream sauce, pan-fried cod, or a mature Brie. It also makes a great, uncomplicated aperitif with some bread and olives.

Dr. Köhler

Dr. Köhler makes wines that reflect his own personality: down-to-earth, direct, and full of joie de vivre. This Rheinhessen winery stands for wines that don't pretend – wines that always show their origin and what they are.

The range follows a clear logic: bronze for the estate wines, silver for the village wines, gold for the single-vineyard wines – and a little color for the concept wines, which are simply meant to be fun. This way you always know what to expect.
