Jose Pariente Varietal Verdejo

The wine presents itself in a bright, shining straw yellow with greenish reflections. In the nose, it shows a fragrant, slightly grassy bouquet with fresh aromas of gooseberries, fresh herbs, citrus fruits such as lime, grapefruit, and lemon zest, as well as cassis blossoms. Added to this are delicate exotic hints and a touch of fennel. In taste, it is very juicy, with animating freshness, racy acidity, and fine minerality. The fragrant aromas of the bouquet are also well felt on the palate, finely enveloped by the slightly creamy texture that the short yeast aging gives it. The wine is full-bodied with a beautiful balance of fullness, fruit, and freshness and shows an elegant note in the finish with the delicate bitterness characteristic of Verdejo.

Suitable companion to appetizers, fish and seafood, pasta, rice, and white meat. Smoked dishes, soft cheese, and sausage specialties are also recommended.
