Freyburg Saale Unstrut Müller-Thurgau dry

Freyburg Saale Unstrut Müller-Thurgau dry
An uncomplicated white wine from one of Germany's northernmost wine regions – fresh, aromatic and suitable for everyday use.
The Freyburg-Unstrut Winegrowers' Association unites around 500 winegrowers between Höhnstedt, Freyburg, and Jena. Founded over 75 years ago, its members jointly cultivate steep slopes and terraced vineyards along the Saale and Unstrut rivers – a region characterized by a continental climate with short, warm summers. These conditions are ideal for Müller-Thurgau : this early-ripening grape variety develops vibrant fruit flavors with moderate alcohol content.
In the glass, the wine displays clear aromas of pineapple and ripe peach , underpinned by a hint of nutmeg. The body is light, the acidity fresh without any harshness, and the finish short and clean.
Serving temperature 8–10 °C. Pairs well with salads with lemon vinaigrette , light pasta dishes, goat cheese, or as a simple summer aperitif on the patio. Drink now – no storage potential.
