A single malt from the Swabian Highlands, aged exclusively in sherry casks for eight years. The sherry influence is clearly in the foreground and comes with caramel depth.

The finch whisky distillery works with barley malt from its own Alb barley and combines regional raw materials with consistent cask management. The DistillersChoice Sherry 8yo is bottled at 46% ABV, with natural color, without chill filtration, and in limited quantities.

In the glass, sherry, caramel, and dark fruit are at the center, accompanied by malt and a fine cask spice. The alcohol content gives the whisky structure and expression without upsetting the balance.

Best enjoyed neat in a tasting glass, with some time and preferably a few drops of water. A recommendation for those who like sherry cask whiskies, and a good addition to any single malt selection. Bottle: 0.5 l.
