Ferruccio Deiana Arvali Vermentino di Sardegna DOC

Vermentino from the Sardinian producer Ferruccio Deiana — fresh, aromatic and with the salty note that the island's sea air brings to the wine.

Ferruccio Deiana cultivates his vineyards in the Campidano plain in southern Sardinia, one of the island's most traditional wine regions. Vermentino has been at home here for centuries and is considered Sardinia's leading white grape variety. The Arvali matures for three to four months in stainless steel tanks—a deliberate avoidance of oak to preserve its characteristic freshness and aromatics.

In the glass, it displays a pale yellow color with greenish reflections. The nose offers elderflower, white peach, and a hint of lemon zest. On the palate, it is dry and medium-bodied, with lively acidity and a slightly bitter, mineral finish—typical of Sardinian Vermentino and indicative of the grape variety and origin.

Ferruccio Deiana

Ferruccio Deiana embodies Sardinia's vinous soul – rugged, proud, and full of character. On the sun-kissed island, the Deiana family primarily cultivates indigenous grape varieties such as Cannonau and Vermentino , which are deeply rooted in the Sardinian soil and shine nowhere else quite like they do here.

Behind every wine lies a clear commitment: no pretense, no polishing – just honest fruit, Mediterranean warmth, and the unmistakable character of an island that knows its own rhythm. If you want to experience Sardinia in a glass, you've come to the right place.
