Domaine de Chevalier L'esprit de Chevalier Blanc

The L'Esprit de Chevalier Blanc is the entry into the white wine universe of Domaine de Chevalier — more accessible than the Grand Cru, but with the same artisanal care in the cellar.

The Domaine de Chevalier is located in the Pessac-Léognan appellation, in the heart of the Graves south of Bordeaux. The winery has belonged to the Bernard family since 1983 and is one of the most reliable addresses for white Bordeaux of all. The L'Esprit comes from younger vine plots and batches that do not flow into the Grand Vin — a classic second label that benefits from the infrastructure and experience of the house.

In the glass, the wine shows the typical signature of the region: Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon result in a lively acidity structure with aromas of white peach, citrus zest, and a hint of toasted hazelnut from the barrel use. The finish is fresh, with a mineral note reminiscent of the gravelly Graves soils.
