Criseo Bolgheri DOC Bianco 0.75L

The Criseo comes from the single vineyard "Campo Bianco" in Bolgheri, Tuscany—a coastal region primarily known for its red wines, but whose Mediterranean soils and sea breezes offer ideal conditions for aromatic white wines. Guado al Melo, a family-run winery with a clear focus on terroir expression, uses a blend of approximately 70% Vermentino, complemented by Fiano, Verdicchio, and Petit Manseng—an unusual combination that gives the wine depth and complexity.

In the glass, the Criseo displays bright citrus aromas, white peach, and a hint of herbs—typical of the Vermentino component. The Fiano contributes a slightly nutty, floral note, while Verdicchio and Petit Manseng provide structure and lively acidity. The finish is fresh, saline, and pleasantly long—a clear indication of its coastal proximity.

The best way to enjoy Criseo is well chilled at 10–12 °C , paired with grilled sea bass, seafood in a white wine sauce, or a light risotto with zucchini and Parmesan. It also makes a great aperitif with a platter of Tuscan antipasti.
