Château Tour Chantecaille GP

A classic Bordeaux red wine from Saint-Émilion – accessible, straightforward, and solidly vinified for daily enjoyment without any fuss.

Château Tour Chantecaille is located in the Saint-Émilion Grand Cru appellation on the right bank of the Gironde. The region is known for its clay-rich soil, which gives Merlot-dominated cuvées their typical fullness and softness. The Château produces a down-to-earth Grand Cru Bordeaux without prestige ambitions – direct, honest, suitable for everyday life.

In the glass, it shows a medium ruby red. On the nose, blackberry, plum, and a subtle hint of cedar wood and dry earth. On the palate, medium body, moderate tannins with a soft texture, moderate acidity, short to medium-long finish with a slight spice in the finish.

Château Tour Chantecaille

Do you know what happens when a winery is located on the border between Saint-Émilion and Pomerol? Then you get Château Tour Chantecaille – a real insider tip for Bordeaux lovers.

Here, Merlot and Cabernet Franc grapes primarily thrive on a terroir of gravel and blue clay, interspersed with iron oxides. This gives the wines their distinctive structure. In the glass, you can expect a velvety texture with aromas of blackcurrants, blackberries, and sour cherries.

The Saint-Émilion Grand Cru is dry, powerful, and has a long finish – perfect with a juicy steak or braised chicken in red wine. The ideal serving temperature is 15 to 18 degrees Celsius. A piece of Bordeaux that you simply must try!
