Château Siran

Château Siran is an elegant yet energetic example of Margaux – a classic Bordeaux from the Médoc, distinguished by its fine structure and ripe fruit. The vineyards surrounding Siran lie in the heart of the Margaux appellation and utilize the typical gravel and clay soils that impart minerality, depth, and a silky texture.

In the glass, it displays a deep, dark red ruby ​​garnet with violet reflections. The nose is well-balanced: cassis, a touch of blackberry, ripe cherry, and delicate floral—slightly powdery—nuances, complemented by subtle wood notes, tobacco, and a hint of forest floor. Everything remains clear, without being overpowering or cloying.

On the palate, Château Siran is concentrated yet supple – with soft but well-structured tannins, lively acidity, and a long, elegant finish. At around 13.5–14.0% ABV, it pairs ideally with grilled beef, lamb, braised dishes, or a fine, aged cheese, and is a Bordeaux that demonstrates that power and finesse need not be opposites in the Médoc.
