Château Siran
Château Siran –
Cabernet character from the Margaux appellation
Château Siran lies in the heart of the Margaux appellation, one of the most renowned wine-growing areas of the Médoc. The soils here – a mixture of gravel, sand, and clay over a limestone base – give Cabernet Sauvignon exactly what it needs: good drainage, heat retention, and the mineral tension that distinguishes Margaux wines from other Bordeaux appellations.
The winery boasts a long history and has been run for generations with the aim of preserving the classic Bordeaux style: tannic, structured, with the potential for extended cellar aging. In the cellar, the team works meticulously on extraction and aging to harmonize the vintage's fruit with the elegance of the appellation. The result is wines that already display character when young, but continue to develop with years in the cellar.
At Vinoscout you will find a curated selection from the Château Siran range – a reliable entry into the world of classic Médoc red wine, perfect with lamb loin, aged hard cheese or a quiet evening with a good book.
