Château Rauzan-Ségla Margaux AOP,

The second Grand Cru Classé from Margaux — and one of the most consistent estates in the Médoc. The Rauzan-Ségla demonstrates what Margaux stands for: elegance with substance, fruit with structure.

The estate dates back to 1661 and has belonged to the Chanel group since 1994, which has extensively renovated it. The vineyards lie on deep gravelly soils right next to Château Margaux—an address that is reflected in the glass. Vinification is carried out traditionally, with long maceration and aging in French oak barrels.

Deep purple in the glass. The nose offers blackberry, plum, and blueberry, underpinned by notes of violet, dark chocolate, and a hint of cedar. On the palate, medium to full-bodied, with velvety tannins and lively acidity—typical of the appellation. The finish is long, with subtle toasty notes from oak aging.
