Château Quintus AC Grand Cru Saint Emilion 0.75L

Château Quintus represents one of the most ambitious ventures in Saint-Émilion: the estate belongs to the Domaines Clarence Dillon family – the same owners as Haut-Brion and La Mission Haut-Brion – and was specifically developed to elevate the potential of the Cabernet Franc-dominated sites on the Right Bank.

Saint-Émilion is the classic terrain for Cabernet Franc: the clay-limestone soils and the mild microclimate give the grape variety an elegance that it rarely achieves elsewhere. In the glass, this is reflected in deep aromas of blackberry and plum, underscored by violets, graphite, and a hint of dark spices. The palate is medium-bodied with velvety tannins and a lively acid structure that gives the wine length and freshness.

It is best enjoyed at 16–18 °C, ideally after a short decanting. It pairs well with herb-crusted leg of lamb, beef fillet, or aged Comté.
