Champagne Lanson Le Black Label Brut 0.375L
The half-bottle of Lanson Le Black Label Brut — 0.375 l — is perfect for two glasses, an evening, or a spontaneous occasion when you don't have a large supply. Lanson has been producing this champagne since 1937 without malolactic fermentation, which keeps the acidity youthful and crisp.
The nose reveals citrus fruit, green apple, and a hint of white blossom. On the palate, it offers lively freshness, fine bubbles, and a long finish. Four years of lees aging give the wine noticeable depth despite its freshness — 92 points from Wine Enthusiast and James Suckling (2022).
Pairs well with aperitifs, oysters, light sushi, or goat cheese. Serving temperature: 8–10 °C.
Champagne Lanson – founded in 1760, one of the oldest Champagne houses in the world. What distinguishes the house to this day is its consistent avoidance of malolactic fermentation. The malic acid is preserved, and the Champagnes retain their crisp freshness and citrus notes – a clear stylistic characteristic that sets Lanson apart from many other Grandes Maisons.
Cellar Master Hervé Dantan is responsible for the blend – from the classic Black Label Brut Reserve to the Rosé Création, each blend newly composed annually. Vintages dating back to 1904 are stored in the cellars.
