Champagne Lanson

Champagne Lanson – founded in 1760, one of the oldest Champagne houses in the world. What distinguishes the house to this day is its consistent avoidance of malolactic fermentation. The malic acid is preserved, and the Champagnes retain their crisp freshness and citrus notes – a clear stylistic characteristic that sets Lanson apart from many other Grandes Maisons.

Cellar Master Hervé Dantan is responsible for the blend – from the classic Black Label Brut Reserve to the Rosé Création, each blend newly composed annually. Vintages dating back to 1904 are stored in the cellars.

Champagne Lanson –
Fresh style from over 260 years of cellar tradition

Founded in 1760, Champagne Lanson is one of the oldest still-operating houses in Champagne. What has defined the house for generations is not a marketing promise, but a artisanal decision: Lanson consistently forgoes malolactic fermentation. The natural malic acid is preserved – the result is Champagnes with pronounced freshness, clear citrus notes, and a vibrancy in the glass that many other Grandes Maisons fail to achieve.

Cellar Master Hervé Dantan is responsible for the blending of the entire collection – from the Black Label Brut Reserve, considered the house's benchmark, to the Rosé Création, whose composition he redefines annually. Both cuvées reflect the same principle: precision over opulence, structure over richness.

In the cellars of Lanson's Reims estate, vintages dating back to 1904 are stored – a silent testament to how seriously Lanson takes the concept of aging potential. Those seeking Champagne with depth and freshness will find here a style that clearly defines its position.
