Champagne de Saint Gall
Read more Read less
Champagne de Saint Gall represents something rare in Champagne: true collaboration. Over 2,000 winegrowers from 15 cooperatives bring together their finest grapes – all from Grand Cru and Premier Cru vineyards. Since 1966, the Union Champagne has united this collective knowledge and passed it down from generation to generation. The result: Champagnes of great purity and elegance that you can taste in every glass. Chardonnay is particularly close to the winemakers' hearts – and it shows. The Blanc de Blancs cuvées showcase this grape variety in its purest form: fresh, delicate, and full of character. But Pinot Noir also receives the attention it deserves.

Champagne de Saint Gall –
collective craftsmanship from Grand Cru sites
Champagne de Saint Gall is not a classic family winery or a large Négociant house – but something rarer: a joint project of over 2,000 winegrowers from 15 cooperatives who have been working together under the umbrella of the Union Champagne since 1966. All grapes come exclusively from Grand Cru and Premier Cru sites – a commitment to quality that is passed down from generation to generation.
The focus is on Chardonnay. The Blanc de Blancs cuvées show the grape variety in its clearest form: citrus-fresh, finely pearled, with a mineral precision that is reminiscent of the chalky soils of the Côte des Blancs. Pinot Noir is also treated with the same care – as a structural force in the assemblage cuvées.
What distinguishes de Saint Gall from many houses is the depth of collective knowledge: hundreds of individual sites, interpreted by winegrowers who have known their soil for decades. The result is Champagnes of great purity – for the aperitif as well as an accompaniment to scallops or a ripe Brillat-Savarin.
