BRUNO Riesling Cabinet Magnum
The BRUNO Kabinett from Karthäuserhof is Mosel-Riesling without any fuss: light, juicy, with the fine residual sweetness that defines a Kabinett.
The Karthäuserhof estate in Eitelsbach, a side valley of the Ruwer River, is one of Germany's oldest wineries—the monks of the Carthusian order cultivated the vineyards as early as the 14th century. Today, the estate is known for approachable, vineyard-typical Rieslings that exhibit Mosel character without seeming academic. The BRUNO is the entry-level wine in the range, designed for uncomplicated moments.
In the glass, it displays aromas of white peach, lime zest, and a hint of green apple. The acidity is fresh but not sharp, and the residual sweetness gives the wine a smooth, uncluttered texture. A short, clean finish with a mineral aftertaste.
