BRUNO Riesling Cabinet Magnum
The BRUNO Kabinett from Karthäuserhof is Mosel Riesling without detours: light, juicy, with the fine residual sweetness that defines a Kabinett.
The Karthäuserhof in Eitelsbach, a side valley of the Ruwer, is one of the oldest wineries in Germany — the monks of the Carthusian order were already cultivating the sites in the 14th century. Today, the estate stands for accessible, site-typical Rieslings that show Mosel character without appearing academic. The BRUNO is the entry into the range, intended for uncomplicated moments.
In the glass, it shows aromas of white peach, lime zest, and a hint of green apple. The acidity is fresh but not sharp; the residual sweetness gives the wine melt without heaviness. Short, clean finish with a mineral aftertaste.
- Temperature: 8–10 °C
- Food: Asian cuisine with coconut milk, tarte flambée, light summer dishes, or simply pure as an aperitif
