Karthäuserhof BRUT

Karthäuserhof BRUT
A sparkling wine from the Ruwer Valley, where the Karthäuserhof estate has been cultivating Riesling on slate soils for centuries. This cuvée of Riesling and Pinot Blanc is produced using the traditional method of bottle fermentation – 36 months of lees aging, three times the legal minimum requirement.
In the glass: citrus zest, green apple, a hint of white peach, and delicate brioche notes. The perlage is creamy and persistent, the acidity precise without harshness, the finish dry with a subtle slate note.
Excellent as an aperitif, and also delicious at the table with oysters, steamed perch, or mild goat cheese. Serving temperature: 8–10 °C.
