Bolla Il Gambero Soave DOC Classico
A classic Soave from the heart of the Classico zone — fragrant, light-footed and with the characteristic minerality of the volcanic soils around Soave.
Bolla is one of the most renowned names in Veneto and has been cultivating Garganega on the steep basaltic slopes of the Classico zone for decades. The volcanic soils with their basalt formations are not just a marketing term, but the crucial reason for the freshness and subtle minerality that distinguishes this wine from simpler Soave bottlings. The grapes are harvested by hand—virtually impossible on such steep slopes.
In the glass, it displays a pale straw yellow color. The nose offers aromas of white peach, acacia honey, and a hint of almond. On the palate, it is light-bodied with lively acidity that supports the fruit without being overpowering. The finish is short to medium-long and slightly mineral.
