Barbaresco Bernadot DOCG 0.75L

The Barbaresco Bernadot from Ceretto comes from one of the most renowned single sites in Piedmont: the Bernadot vineyard in Treiso, where Nebbiolo grows on calcareous soils with a high clay content — a combination that gives the wine its characteristic structure.

Ceretto has been cultivating its sites in Piedmont for decades with a clear focus on expression of origin; the wines are certified organic. The Bernadot stands for the independent voice of the Treiso zone within the Barbaresco DOCG: somewhat more accessible than some neighboring sites, yet by no means less complex.

In the glass, the wine shows the classic ruby red with garnet reflections that mature Nebbiolo brings. On the nose, violets, dried roses, and ripe sour cherry, plus a hint of white pepper. On the palate, it carries the tannin structure typical of Barbaresco — firm but not bulky — with a lively acidity that keeps the finish long and precise.

Serve at 16–18 °C, preferably decanted an hour before drinking. Classic accompaniment: Brasato al Barolo, game ragù with pappardelle, or ripe Parmigiano Reggiano.

Ceretto

Ceretto is more than a winery – it's a family story that has been unfolding in the hills of the Langhe since the 1930s. What began with purchased grapes was transformed into something special by Bruno and Marcello Ceretto: they recognized early on the importance of the land – and bought the best vineyard sites in the region.

Today, the third generation stands for unwavering respect for the terroir and organic viticulture – certified organic since 2015. Their Barolos and Barbareschi are an expression of a region that you simply must experience in your glass.
