Barbaresco Asili DOCG 0.75L
The Barbaresco Asili from Ceretto comes from one of the most sought-after single vineyards in the entire Barbaresco area — the Asili site in Barbaresco, known for its southwestern exposure and the calcareous tuff soil, which gives the Nebbiolo special minerality and finesse.
Ceretto is one of the defining family businesses of Piedmont. For decades, they have cultivated their sites consistently and are bio-certified (IT-BIO-015). The Asili plot is considered a top location even within the Barbaresco area — the demands on vinification are correspondingly high.
In the glass, the wine shows the classic Nebbiolo structure: aromas of dried rose, cherry, and tobacco, underneath a mineral undertone. The tannins are firm but silky — typical for the Asili site, which produces elegance rather than force. The finish is long, spicy, with a hint of licorice.
Best served at 16–18 °C. Pairs with Brasato al Barolo, aged Parmigiano Reggiano, or lamb with rosemary.

Ceretto is more than a winery – it's a family story that has been unfolding in the hills of the Langhe since the 1930s. What began with purchased grapes was transformed into something special by Bruno and Marcello Ceretto: they recognized early on the importance of the land – and bought the best vineyard sites in the region.
Today, the third generation stands for unwavering respect for the terroir and organic viticulture – certified organic since 2015. Their Barolos and Barbareschi are an expression of a region that you simply must experience in your glass.
