Ceretto Langhe Arneis Blangé DOC
The Blangé is the best-known face of the once almost forgotten Arneis grape – and Ceretto has played a significant role in ensuring that this Piedmontese grape variety is back on international wine lists today.
The Ceretto winery has been rooted in the Langhe since the 1930s and is considered one of the region's trendsetters – both for Nebbiolo and for white rarities like Arneis. Their vineyards in Roero, the hilly opposite bank of the Tanaro, provide the basis for this dry white wine, which has been setting standards for decades.
In the glass, it shows a luminous golden yellow. The nose opens with aromas of ripe apple, pear, and a hint of orange blossom – typical for Arneis, which combines this floral-flowery line with a subtle almond atmosphere. On the palate, juicy and lively, with fresh acidity that gives the wine structure without tightening it. The finish is short to medium-long, aromatic, and pleasantly dry.
Drinking recommendation: Served at 10–12 °C, it goes well with vitello tonnato, fish risotto, grilled shrimp, or mild soft cheeses. Also a solid choice as an uncomplicated aperitif with focaccia.

Ceretto is more than a winery – it's a family story that has been unfolding in the hills of the Langhe since the 1930s. What began with purchased grapes was transformed into something special by Bruno and Marcello Ceretto: they recognized early on the importance of the land – and bought the best vineyard sites in the region.
Today, the third generation stands for unwavering respect for the terroir and organic viticulture – certified organic since 2015. Their Barolos and Barbareschi are an expression of a region that you simply must experience in your glass.
