Ceretto is more than a winery – it's a family story that has been unfolding in the hills of the Langhe since the 1930s. What began with purchased grapes was transformed into something special by Bruno and Marcello Ceretto: they recognized early on the importance of the land – and bought the best vineyard sites in the region.
Today, the third generation stands for unwavering respect for the terroir and organic viticulture – certified organic since 2015. Their Barolos and Barbareschi are an expression of a region that you simply must experience in your glass.

three generations, one passion for the Langhe
What Ceretto is today began in the 1930s with a simple conviction: good wine is made on good land. Bruno and Marcello Ceretto acted consistently on this – they bought site after site in the hills of the Langhe, including some of the most coveted crus for Barolo and Barbaresco. No purchasing of outside grapes, but complete control from the vineyard to the bottle.
Today, the third generation continues to run the winery – with the same standards, but a clear commitment to ecology: Ceretto has been organically certified since 2015. The soils of limestone, clay, and sand, the cool nights in autumn, the hillside location of the vine rows – all this is reflected in wines that show Nebbiolo as it can be in this region: tannin-rich, aromatically complex, long-lived.
Whether the Barolo Bricco Rocche from Castiglione Falletto or the Barbaresco Asij from Neive – Ceretto's wines need time in the cellar and patience in the glass. Anyone who opens them gets Piedmont in its most concentrated form: tar, roses, dried cherries, a long mineral finish. Pair with Brasato al Barolo or an aged Parmigiano Reggiano.
