Aliestre White

Aliestre White
Aliestre White from Portugal's Alentejo region is a fresh, dry white wine that elegantly and precisely showcases the region's clear, sun-drenched character. It is made from a blend of the indigenous Arinto and Antão Vaz grape varieties, which thrive on the warm, marble-rich soils of Quinta Aliestre and, thanks to their location, develop a fine acidity, vibrant minerality, and a distinctive character.
In the glass, it displays a bright, luminous straw yellow with green reflections. The nose unfolds with aromas of fresh citrus fruits, quince, yellow apricot, and delicate herbal notes , underpinned by a subtle minerality reminiscent of cool, stony soils, lending the wine a pleasing depth. On the palate, the Aliestre White is crisp, lively, and well-balanced, with a crisp yet supple acidity that contributes freshness and drinkability. The structure is light to medium-bodied, with a juicy, fruity character and a pleasantly dry, slightly spicy finish.
This wine pairs perfectly with light dishes such as grilled fish, seafood, bacalhau (salt cod), salads, or fresh goat cheese . Served at around 7–9 °C , it is equally suitable as an invigorating aperitif or a relaxed summer companion on the terrace or balcony – an approachable white wine with typical Alentejo charm and distinctive minerality.
